Solutions Architect

We are seeking a Solutions Architect with strong Project Management skills with intranet implementation experience (MOSS 2007 functional experience is a plus) to reside onsite with our team during to provide traditional Solutions Architecture and PM assistance with our implementation team. This resource will assist in the project planning, provide guidance in the formation and execution of the project plan, finalization of the project timeline and also provide strategic support for mapping out future phases of the project.

Responsibilities

Key Functions:
•Serve as a technical evangelist, helping customers envision and rationalize complex architectures
•Design complex solution architectures
•Design complex and leading edge solutions
•Responsible for supervising large teams (15+)
•Responsible for coordinating execution activities across multiple project teams •Responsible for ensuring project quality and customer satisfaction
•Responsible for qualifying potential opportunities
•Responsible for leading customer business development initiatives
•Responsible for using technical skills to win customer confidence
•Responsible for developing long-term advisory relationships (either technically or delivery / execution focused) with senior client personnel
•Recognized as a expert in 1-2 deep content areas or as a leader across 4-5 content areas
•Responsible for developing external recognition in 1-2 content areas
•Responsible managing internal groups (e.g., communities)
•Responsible for guiding the career counseling activities of others Requirements Large Scale design and implementations of SharePoint
•Prior working knowledge of MS Project Server (2002/2003) AND experience configuring and customizing the application.
•Knowledge of .Net and Web Services is required.
•Expert level knowledge of C#, and .NET framework including ASP.NET.
•Thorough understanding of C++, COM or VB6/VB.NET required
•Solid understanding of SQL (MS SQL Server) and database development. •Experience with other database platforms such as Oracle, DB2, Sybase, Informix or MySQL a plusProvide consistent customer service levels as defined by client assignment specifications
•Prior experience working within Professional Services, Solutions or consulting environment strongly desired
•Prior role as Solutions Architect or Enterprise Architect required
•Experience working with Business Process Management or Document Management projects
•Communicate project/work status with clients, project leaders, and managers on a continual basis
•Strong working knowledge of Microsoft technology platform (.Net) and deployment of both large and small scale IT solutions

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field required
• Certification (MCSD / MCSE) preferred
• Yrs Experience 6-7 year Functional Area Development
