Business Development Manager

Job Summary: The Business Development Manager/Director is responsible for partnering with Microsoft to qualify and develop new business relationships and develop new business in assigned territory Key Functions: •“Hunter” Performing all business development activities that leads to profitable revenue and market share growth. •“Farmer” Targeting potential clients and expanding current accounts. •Working with business development counterparts. •Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment •Developing account strategies and managing the pursuit and proposal process. •Build a Pipeline of quality opportunities •Facilitating client meetings and serve as a value proposition expert. •Preparing weekly reports and updates to management. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree. •8+ years of business development experience in the professional services arena. •A proven record for business development services and solutions at the "C" level of companies. •Demonstrated ability to develop account strategies and drive processes. •Strong relationship-management and teamwork skills. •High energy and high-level business development leadership skills. •Strong sales management knowledge and/or experience. •Expertise in relationship building that increases account penetration and leads to increased revenue opportunities with existing clients. •Developing and utilizing pre-existing network of clients or contacts. •Success in working closely with consultants and other BDM’s to develop strategies and tactics that drive targeting programs and win business. •Make live oral presentations that win new business. •Attend industry conferences, training seminars, and symposium You will be accountable for the following: •Carry a minimum annual sales quota of $?? •maintain sales forecasts, quotas, commission structures, etc. to promote rapid growth. •Work with Executive Team on Strategy, Services Development, Acquisitions, etc. •Building client relationships •Bring in new business •Solving customer problems with innovative solutions •Meeting sales targets by prioritizing opportunities
